The walls are adorned with four large portraits in the main parlor of the house, each bearing a nameplate. As you enter the parlor, the first portrait you encounter is that of Prof. Nafeesa (Baby), taken when she became a professor. She is dressed in a stunningly beautiful and captivating black abaya, and despite the dark color, it does not diminish her beauty in the slightest. Instead, she complements it with a milk-colored veil. Her lovely face is radiant with a smile that further enhances her striking beauty, along with her dimples. She stands holding a staff with both hands, slightly tilting her head, with no indication that she knew the photo was being taken.  

Near her portrait is another framed photo featuring Al'ameen with Baby, sitting closely together, dressed in matching powder-blue outfits. Beside them are Noor and Ikram, also dressed alike, all laughing at the moment the photo was taken. On another side are portraits of other family members, each with their respective families. Then there is one group photo of the entire family together. This particular one was not taken long ago, as it was done shortly before Prof. Baby passed away. If you look closely, they all resemble each other, with only slight differences in complexion setting them apart.  

Dr. Al'ameen, also known as Kaka, is seated in the parlor with his three sons, discussing how they will organize the wedding celebrations for their children, as is their tradition whenever their children complete their medical studies.  

"When exactly is your wife returning? You know the wedding is near, and they should come back so that Matata (referring to Dahira) can also prepare properly," Kaka, seated in his wheelchair, said.  

ABBU replied, "Insha Allah, Dady will return. I will contact them again because A'isha’s father (his wife Aunty Amarya) is seriously ill, which is why they delayed."  

Kaka said, "Very well, may Allah bring them back safely."  

Everyone responded with "Ameen."  

Then he looked at Big Dady and asked, "And when did Usman say he would return?"  

Big Dady replied, "Allah help us, Dadyna! I spoke to him, but he said, 'If you’re not patient, I won’t be able to make it because work is overwhelming me.'"  

Showing signs of anger, Kaka said, "Since when did Usman become so stubborn? Does he think I won’t allow him to stay there and work? Is he trying to upset me? Well, hurry up and call him—tell him I’m giving an order: he must attend this wedding celebration. What’s stopping him from coming?"  

The others responded, "May Allah soften your heart, Baba."
